When you contact Chef Alex Silverfox, you’re not talking to a generic “team” inbox. You’re reaching a working food critic, restaurant reviewer and author who still cares about what happens on the plate and in the room.

Contact Chef Alex Silverfox if you’re looking for something more than a polite “nice content”. I don’t do polite. I do honest, useful and to the point.
Before You Reach Out
I’m Chef Alex Silverfox – food critic, restaurant reviewer and author. I spend most of my time writing, visiting restaurants, teaching and hosting small, very intentional private dinners. I do read my messages, but I ignore a lot of noise.
If you don’t know me yet, start with the About page and a few of the latest pieces on the blog. It’ll make this conversation easier for both of us.
I’m the right person to contact if you’re looking for:
- Editorial collaborations, interviews or food writing projects.
- Inviting me to experience your restaurant, bar or hotel with no scripted talking points.
- Private dining, chef’s table or small-group experiences built around real conversation and real food.
- Speaking, teaching or mentoring around food, storytelling and hospitality.
Who I Work With
Over the years I’ve worked with independent restaurants, hotel groups, bars, food brands, publishers, production companies and creators who take food seriously. If you just want someone to say everything is “amazing”, I’m not your guy. If you want someone who understands both the line and the dining room, we might get along.
When you contact Chef Alex Silverfox, you’re not talking to a social media intern. You’re talking to someone who has run kitchens, consulted on menus and concepts, and written about food and hospitality from the inside out.
If You’re a Restaurant or Hotel
If you run a restaurant, bar or hotel and you’re thinking about inviting me, understand this: I don’t sell praise. I don’t trade “exposure” for free meals. What I can offer is an honest, informed point of view from someone who has spent decades on both sides of the pass.
Use this page to contact Chef Alex Silverfox if you’re ready for that level of honesty. If you just want another smiling post, there are plenty of influencers for that. I’m more interested in places that care about the work.
I pay attention to what’s happening in serious food circles — from independent neighborhood spots to places that show up on lists like the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Titles and awards don’t impress me on their own, but they’re part of the landscape.
What Happens When You Write
I read every serious message. I reply to the ones where I can actually add value. If your pitch sounds like it was written by a PR bot, it probably dies in my inbox. If it sounds like a human who cares about food, there’s a good chance you’ll hear back.
How to Contact Chef Alex Silverfox
Use the form below to contact Chef Alex Silverfox and tell me briefly who you are, what you’re proposing and why it matters. The more honest you are, the easier it is for me to say yes — or no.
You can also choose to receive occasional emails from me or selected partners about events, private dinners, classes, books and related projects. That’s optional, and you can unsubscribe or opt out at any time.
Before You Contact Chef Alex Silverfox
One last thing before you contact Chef Alex Silverfox: be specific. Tell me who you are, what you’re working on and what you actually need. “Let’s collab” is not a plan. A clear idea, even if it’s small, is a much better way to start a conversation.
